Are you trying to be the perfect mom?

God has not called you to fit in. 1 Peter 2:9

There really is no such thing as the perfect mom.
There is no such thing as a perfect human being, period!
We are all unique individuals created with a form of equality. We are proving that life is worth living as well as living life to the fullest.

As moms, it’s natural for us to feel vulnerable and want to communicate with other fellow mommies. It makes us feel good. Most importantly, it makes us feel sane.

What can suck about this… is those… bad moms.

We all know some of these moms. Heck, we may be one of these moms sometimes! It’s hard not to get sucked in to what other moms are doing. Which then makes it difficult for us to be ourselves and be the absolute best mom we can be.

Usually attract negative vibes. They become bitter by judging others and raise the expectation bar for themselves.

They thrive off gossip which neglects their personal selves by focusing on others. Which in turn, often causes confrontation and drama.

They are so volnerable that they will do whatever it takes to be friends and/ or hang out with one or a group of other moms. They don’t acknowledge the consequences, they just follow.

They feel like they never fit in. Not because they think they’re better, or less than… just because.

Here are 21 bible verses about not fitting in.

Number 6 is one of my faves! I’d love to know yours. Drop it in the comments 🙂 xo

I’m just going to cut to the chase and let you in on a HUGE secret!

BELIEVE! Seriously! It’s that simple.

You will first have to acknowledge that you will NEVER be the perfect mom. You must also understand that will never ever come close to it.

Yes, there’s a but… lol

As long as you are doing your absolute BEST at all times – that is all that matters.

Trust that you are making the right decisions and learn from your mistakes.

The only person ever judging you… is yourself!

Think about what’s most important, your child or children.

Everything you do is for them.

They are your reason for living.

As a mom, I tell myself ‘I GOT THIS’ all the time.
You should too!

God has blessed YOU with one or several children.

As moms, we all know and understand one another, whether we want to accept it or not. Only women can experience giving birth and the true meaning of motherhood. Only a woman truly understand the emotional and physical aspects that come with being a caregiver. Only a woman can/ will be in a position to mother/ nurture for a child that’s grown within. Only a mother can really relate and respect another for who she is and what she’s experiencing.

Be unique.
Be genuine.
Be honest.
Be loyal.
Be grateful.
Be courageous.
Be kind.
Be you.

Be the BEST version of yourself.

That is ALL your children will EVER need.

I promise! 🙂 xo
